My late husband, Gary facilitated a man to man prostrate cancer support group which continues today. He was also an avid Ravens Fan and tailgater extrodinare. His goal was to see an educational tailgate in every NFL city for screening and prevention.

It's about egalitarianism - their efforts in raising Breast Cancer awareness are laudable, but they're ignoring the other half of the population by not raising Prostate Cancer awareness.

I'm signing because I was diagnosed with prostate cancer at 42. My cancer was stage 3. It's sad and frankly embarrassing that I was not aware of my risk of having the disease. My Dad and Uncle had it, and I am well educated (with Ph.D)...and have been watching NFL and other men's sports my whole life... but did not know I should get checked. The NFL should be doing more to raise aware. Men need to monitor their PSA.

I've experience its effects firsthand in my own family. It's wonderful that the nfl
Raises awareness for breast cancer and they should do the same for a major men's health issue.

No question that the NFL should support this. They show their care and support for women, so why not do the same for the gender that is represented by the NFL?
