Jack Woodrow James, 52, was convicted of harassment and three counts of attempted sexual indecency with a child in Sebastian County District Court on Wednesday, November 7th, and sentenced to four years in jail and a 4,000 fine by District Court Judge Wayland Parker III. Deputy prosecutor Alison Houston said Parker ordered the sentences run consecutively.
The town of Lavaca does not support those who commit these crimes against children and feel it is in the best interest of the town that he no longer be able to write editorials for the town newspaper, the New Sentry. Up until this point, Norma Vandusen has denied removing Jack and is aware about this petiton to boycott.
Please sign this petition if you are in favor of having Jack James removed from The New Sentry Lavaca newspaper and are willing to boycott purchasing the paper until Norma Vandusen takes action.
