Discussion posts were created to supplement online learning environments, now that courses have returned to in person instruction, discussion posts are still due and considered apart of weekly assignments. Why are we continuing to use this supplemental participation assignment now that we are in person again? 

Discussion posts waste time and distract students from the actual reading. Personally, I need them to stop. It is now affecting the quality of my education. Lang professors must realize that these posts need to come to an end with our online semesters. Time to put it to bed. no more.
