Nigerian National Assembly To Conduct a Public Hearing On President Buhari's Health

The Nigerian Senate and House of Representatives should hold a public hearing on President Buhari's health.
This is a matter of public concern.
Although the responsibility to initiate investigation into the President's fitness to function rests with the Executive Council of the Federation, according to S.144 of the CFRN, however, under the present circumstances where the Executive Council does not appear to have had no access to him and no reliable information to act on, it is near impossible to carry out their duty regarding determination of his capability of discharging the functions of his office, as required by the constitution.
We therefore call on the National Assembly, as the people's representatives to ask the pertinent questions:
Where is the President?
What ailment is he being treated for?
How is his treatment being paid for?
Why abroad, not at the State House clinic?
What role is he playing in executive decisions?
What is in the best interest of Nigeria?
The secrecy surrounding this matter must not be allowed to continue, in the interest of the nation that the president and the National Assembly members swore to serve.
