Homeless has drastically increased throughout the years.  Until the 20th Century the stigma of homelessness was viewed as a result of poor life choices. Historical homelessness was scarce, only represented by a small number of tents and panhandlers looking for aid.   Now homelessness is starting to become prominent.  An increase in families are more visible as homeless due lack of  resources, health issues, or drug abuse.

The city has to get more involved with our citizens living on the streets.  More resources, such as housing, counseling and medication need to be more accessible.
