Community Living BC is using funding from their tight budget to set up an independent Nonprofit Organization to support their Home Share Program.  This new organization will not be providing support to the people who actually require it but it will be doing the work that Community Living already has a working group doing. 

Community Living has a waiting list of people needing services. Many families and caregivers are confused as to why this is being created at a time when people are begging for support. 

We believe this is a misuse of taxpayers money and are asking that you sign the petition to stop the creation of this organization and ask the Government to spend the money on support for people with disabilities not employees. 

The community did not ask that this Non Profit be created! If it is stopped it will mean more services for people who need them this year and for the years to come.
