A lot of parents and students have been caught off guard with virtual learning during this pandemic. The most scholarly students who brought home honor roll, principal’s list, or superintendent’s list grades have dropped drastically to no avail. Who will listen to the cries of the concerned parents, students and stakeholders in our communities?

Many of these children have suffered from or suffered the loss of close loved ones since COVID-19 struck our nation and schools. Has anyone stopped to ask our babies how they are doing emotionally? Suicide is right around the corner according to statistics with our younger children. Who will step up to sign this petition for change?

Do educators care? Does the Department of Education care about you as a stakeholder in the community? Where are our state representatives right now when we need them the most? Are teachers simply issuing out a grade that is harsh or unfair? Will you sit by allow it to continue to our babies?

Enough is enough! Join with me as I petition the nation for change to hear the cries of our parents and children. This year cannot truly give a true assessment of our children’s academic abilities. REMOVE THE PRESSURE! SHARE!
