Numerous years under the ownership of Jeffery Loria, the Florida/Miami Marlins have been the laughing stock of Major League Baseball. Instead of being a team for the people and community of Miami, they have been a conniving business that has taken advantage of the City of Miami for too long. Punished by Major League Baseball in recent years for not properly developing a team, the Miami Marlin fan base has had enough. When creating plans for the new stadium that was built for the 2012 season, the Marlins owner & Board of Directors schemed their way to have a $634 million built using the City of Miami taxpayer’s money and refused to report the actual income that the team had made. In the most recent series of events, several Miami Marlins stars have been traded to the sub-.500 Toronto Blue Jays. It is time for the City of Miami and the Miami Marlins fan-base to stand up for what is right and have Jeffery Loria sell the team to an owner that cares for the people and fans of the Miami Marlins.
