Say NO to Zoe's Law. Say YES to reproductive rights.

We call upon Gladys Berejiklian, her government and all members of the NSW Parliament to prove their genuine support for the reproductive rights of all people and vote against the Crimes Amendment (Zoe’s Law) Bill 2017 when it is brought before parliament.
The bill, which grants legal personhood to a foetus, poses a serious risk to the reproductive rights of child-bearing people. The law sets a dangerous precedent that could see those who have an abortion face the risk of serious criminal prosecution.
NSW is the last remaining state in Australia within which abortion remains a criminal offence. To endorse a bill that will create further ambiguity around the rights of child-bearing people to make their own reproductive health decisions is a violation of our human rights.
We ask that you uphold the most fundamental human rights of your constituents and ensure that this backwards and dangerous bill does not pass. Reproductive rights are human rights.
