Single use plastic bags are a scourge, they pollute, they choke animals, and simply have no place in America. To do this in an economically viable way we wish for a tax on single use plastic bags in any store, shop, or business that will force single use plastic bags out of America.

Europe has already done this, as the most powerful country on Earth we simply have an obligation to lead by example, not to have to follow the lead of others.
