Seniors, Employees, Mothers, Dads,the Disabled, School Children, Homeless are impacted by NOT having Buses from Stony Plain Road & 151 Street.  Seniors only have an On Demand bus from 9 AM - 4 PM, otherwise have to taxi or walk from Jasper Park Transit Center before 9 AM or after 4 PM daily.  All Transit users were able to go in any direction using 5 different buses.  A trip that would take 10 minutes, every 15 minutes, to get to Meadowlark Medical Mall & Library now only runs every hour from Jasper Park Transit. To go to Jasper & 124 Street you now have to take 3 buses whereas it would take 1 Bus & only 20 minutes to get there.  Winter - 30 -40 with windchill is going to create huge issues for all Transit users.  The City Transit justify's changes saying the LRT is coming.  This will not be completed for 6 years but with the City of Edmonton's track record on projects completed on time, I say over 10 years to complete. To use On Demand you have to have a Cell Phone to call for a pick up at Westmount & Jasper Park Transit Centers, which not every one has.  It is also a privacy issue for using On Demand because you have to give out your phone number every time you use them. This has also impacted Businesses as Shoppers can no longer get to Jasper Gate Mall, Shoppers or No Frills or get downtown easily to shop.  Lose Lose for all Edmontonians!
