I always take this area at 40 when it is dark out. Rain makes it impossible to see sometimes. I think this is a great idea.

I don’t live there anymore, but my kids used to cross First Ave to and from school so I know exactly how busy and dangerous it can be!

I am putting my name down because 95 percent of the crosswalks are scary to cross as it is peoe do not stop even though its the right away no cameras just lights to wake people up

sadly, too many driver's don't adhere to the rules of the road and often just pass stopped vehicles on the (non-existent) right (lane) side of the road without checking to see if there's a pedestrian.
