Pass Bill H.502 (An Act Relative to Transgender Equal Rights)

Massachusetts is supposed to lead the way in equality and be an example for the entire union. We were the first to have gay marriage and we are one of the most open states but we have constantly failed to protect people who are more vulnerable than anyone, transgender people. This bill Bill H.502 (An Act Relative to Transgender Equal RIghts) would add protections for employment, housing, public accommodation, and would not change existing laws only add gender identity and gender expression to the list of already existing protections. Why Massachusetts continues to fail to pass such protections every year is a mystery. Please add your voice to this letter saying NO to ignoring Transgender people here in Massachusetts.
