For the last semester, Rachel Davidson and Emily Pauly have been the co-host and executive producers of Loyola University New Orleans official Maroon podcast. They have been pouring their heart and soul every week into making fun and insightful episodes that highlight the culture and students of Loyola and New Orleans. Starting from the ground up, these two sophomores work hard every week to have interviews with students and writers to give them a voice and tell the world about the things they represent and their passions. Now after 15 great episodes, The Maroon Newspaper has decided to cancel the podcast, fire Rachel and Emily, and move forward with different team. They gave no warning or advice to Emily and Rachel as to how they could move into the future successfully and still be the hosts of the podcast. Not only are they heartbroken that this project that has had love brought to it every week will be over, but also that their weekly listeners will have no chance to see a fitting end to the podcast that has made them smile for 15 weeks.
