We are students from the Salemwood school and we were wondering if we could have a moment to talk to you guys about an idea that we have for a civics project. We are trying to address the issue of racism and hate crimes in both the city of Malden. We think this can be achieved by creating a class on prejudice that all students would be required to take before graduating from high school.  This is important because it could help students to identify their own prejudices and also unlearn any hatred, racism, or any other forms of bias they may have learned over the course of their lives.
