At the moment, Malaysia is facing one of the largest waves of COVID-19, if not THE largest wave of COVID-19 in the history of Malaysia's fight against COVID-19. With daily cases numbering In the thousands and deaths slowly catching up, It is seemingly more and more hopeless. 

More recently, meaning in the past month or two, there has been a discovery of two newly evolved strains of COVID-19 originating from both South Africa and India. It has also been found that both these new strains have somehow made it's way upon Malaysian Shores, specifically in Sarawak, Sabah and Some places in West Malaysia. These new super-spreader strains are known to infect without showing any signs or symptoms of infections and are one of the few factors that are currently causing cases to skyrocket.

As of recent events, we now know that it is not only the elderly and adults over 30 that are able to contract the virus, but we know that children and members of they youth are able to as well. Children getting infected and dying, teenagers carrying the disease and passing it around to their peers and classmates who bring the strain home and infect their parents unintentionally, Faculty members that go outside to buy food supplies and getting in contact with the infected, bringing them into schools and passing them to the students. And we know that these scenarios aren't impossible or unlikely because they have already happened before and killed too many.

At least when those situations happened, it was detectable and trackable by following the symptoms shown. But with the two new symptomless and more lethal strains coming into our country and infecting thousands, how would we be able to ensure the safety of our youth ? How are we able to stop the spread of we don't even know that it's happening.

We say that the youth are the future of our nation and the leaders of it to greatness. But what good is the nation with no youth to lead it?
