The Magicians is a wonderful show and Quentin Coldwater's death, while tragic, was a beautiful ending to his story arc that allowed him to see how he positively influenced the lives of others. 

Season 5 deals with grief and moving beyond the loss of a friend and loved one. It allows us to explore the process of moving on and allowing other characters to shine.

Jason Ralph was very clear that he does not intend to come back as a main character of the show. The  writers put a LOT of work, time, and effort into deciding to go this route for the sake of the story. LET IT GO. 

All of the people demanding a return of Coldwater are ruining this season for those who want to discuss the growth and development of the rest of the ensemble.  I understand you are sad and hurt and disappointed at this turn of events, but for the sake of the rest of us.....
