Medical Officers of Health for Middlesex-London, and Huron, Bruce, Elgin and Oxford Counties will be holding a news conference Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 3 p.m. to undoubtedly announce they are tightening Premier Doug Ford's restrictions on youth sport.

Premier Doug Ford specifically says: People under the age of 18 who are entering the indoor premises of a facility used for sports and recreational facilities solely for the purpose of actively participating in an organized sport are to be exempt. 

Covid deaths in young people is nearly zero per cent. On the contrary, almost everyday we are now hearing of young athletes passing away suddenly and their families are correlating the sudden emergence of health issues with the Covid-19 vaccine. 

Case counts in Ontario are decreasing. Hospital admissions are decreasing. ICU admissions are decreasing. Why are these Medical Officers of Health tightening restrictions when the majority of the population is vaccinated and Ontario is in a much better position than it was one year ago?

The mental health of young people has suffered tremendously over the past 18 months. If you trust in your science and your decisions then you will let kids play. You are grossly over-stepping when you work against Premier Ford.
