i want my schools dress code to be changed to be less sexist and more fair.

I want to be able to wear clothes I am comfortable and happy in without the fear of being sexualized as a minor by adults. There is nothing wrong with someone showing some midriff or their shoulders. Not to mention that this is a very sexist set of rules considering there are no rules that go against men and these rules are targeting female clothing. They say that the clothes are a distraction, but we need to teach men to not objectify women not to make woman objects and force them to cover up. The real distraction is making a scene and forcing women to leave class for hours, taking them away for learning simply for their attire. On just the second day of school I was forced out my class due to about an inch and a half of my stomach was showing. Why? Why did I have to miss 3/4 of the class, not hearing important information because I was sitting in the office waiting for my mother to leave work early to bring me an “acceptable” shirt? Just today my best friend was dresscoded due to her shoulders showing in a tank top. She was sent to ISS to sit there for hours missing important class time. Why? Because sexism? Because women are objectified and turned into objects? Because the male teachers will be distracted? There is no proper reason for that to ever happen. She did nothing wrong. She does not deserve to have that point on her record for the rest of her life. No one does. There needs to be a change.
