Students were under the impression that they would be writing a blackboard activity for 10 marks, as stated in both the original and amended CRIM 3744 guide. As such, the fact that the lecturer has presented us with what looks like a mini assignment comes as a tremendous shock and inconvenience 

this assignment also clashes with our other Criminology module since students agreed to push it earlier because they did not want to be under pressure for the final assessment 

we are third years yes, but we are third years in the midst of a pandemic and this assessment does not accommodate all students. we are required to research, type and submit a 2500- 3000 word assessment in 5 days which is too much pressure and may result in students submitting rushed work. Could the lecturer please kindly stick to the guideline she gave us that being completing a blackboard activity, this may sound like an excuse but its the reality of students and we ask to be heard, we've been trying our best with the assessments given in the module but it still comes across as rushed work, we are merely asking for an opportunity to improve our marks. Thank you
