نتوجّه إليكم نحن الموقّعون على هذه العريضة، اللبنانيات واللبنانيون المغتربون في سائر أقطار العالم، للتأكيد على رفضنا لنظام الست مقاعد الذي يسعى البعض الى اعتماده لتمثيلنا في مجلس النواب، لأنه يميز بيننا وبين اللبنانيين المقيمين ويلحقنا في دائرة خارج الحدود، ما يخالف الدستور.

Honorable President and Members of the Constitutional Council,

The signatories of this petition, Lebanese expatriates from all over the world, hereby  firmly denounce the six-seat system that some are seeking to adopt to represent us in the Lebanese parliament. This system discriminates between us and the citizens residing in Lebanon and enrolls us in a district outside the borders, hence violating the Constitution.

We hope that you will do us justice and protect the Constitution.

Nous, expatriés libanais du monde entier, signataires de cette pétition, dénonçons fermement le système des six sièges que certains cherchent à mettre en place pour nous représenter au Parlement libanais. Ce système nous discrimine par rapport aux citoyens résidant au Liban et nous catégorise dans une circonscription hors frontières, violant ainsi la Constitution.

Nous espérons que vous nous rendrez justice et que vous protégerez la Constitution.
