Somebody . started this petition to The Kgs Board and

On July 12th students were given a new timetable for the upcoming online classes, the timetable was fairly standard with 3-4 periods starting at 8:30 am and ending at 12:00 pm along with 15 minute breaks which allowed students enough time to get ready for the next class and grab a little snack, no complaints were heard about it. Then on September 13th a new timetable was issued again, this time it was planned for physical school. The timetable was pretty similar to the old one exept that the first class was scheduled to start at 7:45 am, again fairly standard considering class had started at 7:45 am in physical school too. After 1 week of physical school the idea of it carrying out was scrubbed and then planned to happen online. With online class starting again for the 3rd time the school issued out a new time table, this time it started at 7:45 am and ended at 1:10, with 5-10 minute breaks. As soon as this new timetable came out students reported that they had started getting exhausted at around 10pm and that their backs started to hurt. Studies show that sitting down and staring at a screen for over 5 hours can result in:

Eyestrain.
Blurry vision.
Trouble focusing at a distance.
Dry eyes.
Headaches.
Neck, back, and shoulder pain.

And this petition is reduce the amount of hours spent in class because all of thse problems can make students leave their work and sit down and have a break mid class which can also lead to bad marks in tests/quizes. With this we hope to have a little longer breaks and a little less hours spent on a screen so that our attitude can be more towards learning and not taking breaks.
