Have Ronald H Saunders II denied parole and serve out his sentence.

Conner Bachuss, 2 years old, was abused in the early morning on December 5th by Ronald H. Saunders II.  Conner then spent the next 5 days hanging on and suffering.  Conner had seizures, hypertension, and a slew of other health problems.  On December 9th, the MRI results confirmed that Conner had extensive  brain damage that included brain stem damage.  His family was told he would most likely never regain  consciousness.  The family was then asked permission to turn off his life support and let him rest.   His family agreed, because they did not want Conner to suffer anymore.  Conner had been so strong and brave through it all.  On December 10th, his mother was able to finally hold him for the first time since the abuse. Conner shortly passed at 6:55 pm while lying in his mother's arms.

Just some of Conners injuries were:

- 114 punctures wounds
(The most on the bottom of his feet 48 on the right foot 41 on the left foot)
- Abrasion on the top of the right ear
-Busted and swollen lips
- Bruise on left cheek
-Small cut and bruise on forehead
-Bruising on right side of the neck
-Blunt force head and facial injuries
- Petticual hemorrhages on both sides of the neck
- 2 large bruises on his back
- Bruise on the top of one lung
- Internal bleeding of organs
- And a thumbtack was removed from the top of his stomach
- Severe brain damaged
-Severe brain stem damaged

On March 30, 2012 the McCracken Co Commonwealth's office agreed to a plea bargain with the defendant. The Commonwealth's office amended the standing murder charge down to manslaughter in the second degree. In the state of Kentucky, Manslaughter in the second degree is classified as a non-violent crime. Even though the abuser has been sentenced to the max of 10 years, after serving only 20% of his sentence (2 years) he is eligible for parole in December 2012.

The family is still in shock that the McCracken Co Commonwealth's office can label this a non-violent crime, and Ronald H. Saunders II a non-violent offender.  Even the judge does not agree that this punishment fit this crime. Please help this family fight against the parole of this offender. We are requesting Ronald H. Saunders II serve out his entire sentence.
