Resident Of Jolly started this petition to The Jolly Roger

The Jolly Roger of Greenville North Carolina promised residents a multitude of amenities and basic apartment need, for example, TVs, common areas,  a convenience store in the base level, a gym which was not open upon move in date, construction still being done everyday without care of residents' schedules. Certain Residents have had to move out of apartments because of flooding and plumbing issues due to rushed construction of The Jolly Roger. Residents have also not received gift cards and signing bonuses that were promised when the lease was signed. The Jolly Roger stated everything would be given at move in date and if you ask a lot of the residents majority of the promises have not been kept. As well as the promise of a " butterfly app " that would allow residents to be able to send keys to friends and open doors for guests from the residents phone. Some other things promised but not received are the fire pit on the roof, the jumbo tron on the roof and gift cards ranging from $100 - $1000.

To list the grievances:

No computers or printers

Nonfunctional trash chute for almost a month

Flooding in apartments causing residents to move into other units with issues as well.

Cameras in parking deck not functional for almost a month

Lounges not having proper furniture

No wifi for the first month

The Jolly Roger promised a New Standard of living and they have not kept the promise. They have not reimbursed residents for troubles caused. All the residents want is to be treated how we should be. It feels like we are paying for something we have not received. After being encouraged to sign based off of false promises and false deadlines. The residents deserve more. The Jolly Roger staff has been nothing but helpful given the circumstances, however, the owner should want the residents' experience to be the best.
