Patrick Noonan started this petition to The Irish Government

Following New Zealand's historic passing of a zero-carbon bill, the Irish Government should attempt to do the same.

Such a bill would commit Ireland to reducing its carbon emissions to zero by 2050 and meet its commitments under the Paris climate accords.

This bill should be introduced, and voted upon, before the next election so the electorate know where all the political parties stand on the issue.
