To Change The Number Of Gaeilge Oral Sraith Pictúir From 20 Down To 10!!

Irish student's go through a lot of stress at the time of the Leaving Cert, having to study 8 or more subjects over the course of two years. Not only this, but the results of these tests decide what they can or can't do with the rest of their lives. The Gaeilge Oral is worth 40% of the exam, with the Sraith Pictúir only amounting to 13%. This is unfair to students, as they are forced to attempt to learn off 20 possible picture stories, on top of everything else. This just adds extra stress to students' already extremely full plates, and distracts them from their other studies. In the German and Russian orals, students are asked to learn only 5 picture stories, and in the Japanese and Italian orals, students are only required to learn 4 picture stories. I'm hoping that by reducing the number to 10 or less in the Gaeilge oral it will bring Irish on par with all other languages, and will help to relieve some of the unbelievable stress and worry experienced by Irish students while preparing for their Leaving Cert every year. Thank you for taking the time to read this! :D
