This problem is fairly simple. Out of all of the planets with moons in our solar system, Earth is the only one without a proper name for its moon. As the fifth-largest moon in the solar system, our master of the tides should really have a name. I mean honestly, we even gave Pluto a name and called it a planet for years, and it's only about two-thirds the size of our moon. Hell, we even named one of Pluto's moons Charon. How are aliens supposed to take us seriously in this galaxy if we don't even have a badass name for our moon? Saturn has Titan. Jupiter as Io and Ganymede. Neptune has Triton. It just doesn't make sense that the only planet with life as we know it doesn't even have a name for its only moon. Let's name this thing.
