Dominic Allaway started this petition to The Indian Consulate in Birmingham

The Birmingham Peoples Centre is a workers' rights charity in the city centre. Last year we helped a former employee of the Indian Consulate in Birmingham called Manoj Nair, a UK citizen, recover unpaid wages of almost £16,500 at the local Employment Tribunal.

The Consulate failed to appear at the hearing, failed to appeal the tribunal decision, and failed to pay what it owes to our client. We have complained to the High Commission in London and sought the help of our client's local MP; the Consulate has still not paid our client his wages.

This purpose of this petition is therefore to persuade the Indian Consulate in Birmingham to respect local employment law and pay Manoj Nair his missing wages.
