As we all know, most students are in school from Monday to Friday. Homework on weekdays is understandable, since the time is not enough to do activities or quizzes after lectures. Students get tired, stressed, and burned out after a long day, or week, of school. Having no assignments or homework on the weekends will help the students rest, bond with their families, feel relieved not thinking about the given homework, and just focus on themselves. If they already rest and focus on themselves during the weekends, they are probably ready to go to school on the weekdays. It is just a cycle for the students; they focus on school during the weekdays, then take a rest during the weekends.
