My experience of mental health has led to many interactions with police for my safety. Although, in my experience and many others, the police force has caused significant trauma due to their lack of understanding of mental health.

Personally, I have been laughed at, screamed and and sweared at, and forcefully restrained by grown men at the age of 14.
