Please take 2 minutes to sign this petition to persuade the Minister Timoci Natuva of the immigration department of Fiji to pledge to allow at least 250 refugees from Afghanistan to enter Fiji. Afghanistan is currently going through a crisis since the Taliban has invaded their territories and taken over their government. The Taliban have strict rules for example, no music, no showing the women's face and no movies. The Taliban use violence to enforce these rules, such as death or imprisonment. The challenges a refugee has to face are crossing borders without any visa and lack of communication with families in their home country. Fiji is a perfect place for refugees because it is safe and peaceful, has lots of space and resources and also kind people. All these things are what scared, worried and traumatised refugees would need most at this time.
