David Paterson started this petition to The House of Commons and the Scottish Parliament

There have been grave concerns expressed about the use of postal voting in the 2019 British General Election. There are a number of areas where concerns have been expressed. Firstly there is the question of the software company IDOX been given the contract. One of its subsidiaries IDOX Opt 2 Vote was found to have broken the law during the 2015 General Election, in that postal votes in a number of areas in both Scotland and England including Glasgow, Dundee Edinburgh, Aberdeen Birmingham and Sheffield did not comply with the law. Until 2018 Peter Lilley ex Conservative Cabinet member and Eurosceptic was a senior non-executive director of IDOX. This is a serious issue in that 38% of votes cast in 2019 were postal votes. There is also the links between the political elite having access to postal voting data before the day of the election. Laura Kuenssberg  the political editor of the BBC  referred to this quite explicitly on the BBC. This in turn can be seen as a breach of the law. IDOX also has bought out most of its rivals so has a virtual monopoly in control of vote counting. A petition with sufficient votes will mean that Parliament is obliged to discuss the matter. Please sign so that ordinary people can start to challenge the stranglehold such elites have over us.
