Dear Prime Minister
Australian farmers are suffering another drought causing insufferable pain and death to animals all over Australia. Farmers are in crisis and have huge debts. They have not recovered from the previous droughts and floods. Many farmers are now at their wits end. Farmers are dying on their property from self-harm. This is a national disgrace. Farmers need help now. The provision of large funding to the Reserve Bank of Australia to purchase distressed farm loans would help the farmers to restructure their loans and provide the circuit breaker to give the farmers a hand up. This is not to be confused with handouts to multinational companies as Australia Farmers will repay their loans when there farms are productive again. The Australia government must show compassion and act now.
