Its utterly disgusting and shameful that animal testing was ever acceptable let alone in the 21st century when we have viable and ethical cruelty free alternatives

Animal testing for cosmetics is absolutely cruel, unethical and unnecessary. With all the products we already have, isn't it time to stop? Furthermore, the cosmetics world should be moving towards more natural and organic ways. This is not only better for the environment and animals, but also the people who use cosmetic products

Animals are not here for our testing. It's time to move forward and leave this awful method behind.

With over 8 billion animals forced to endure lives of overwhelming suffering in today's laboratories, the only way to eradicate animal cruelty is simply to end animal testing, which has been proven to be futile.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu Speaks Out for Animals
by Ari Solomon........
.....Nobel Prize-winning Archbishop Desmond Tutu is speaking out about injustice to animals and our duty to fight it. In his first major statement on animal welfare, Tutu declared:
I have seen firsthand how injustice gets overlooked when the victims are powerless or vulnerable when they have no one to speak up for them and no means of representing themselves to a higher authority. Animals are in precisely that position. Unless we are mindful of their interests and speak out loudly on their behalf, abuse and cruelty go unchallenged.
Featured in the "Global Guide to Animal Protection," Tutu also expressed concern over the definition of "dominion," stating that it should not be an exercise of cruel and abusive power.
From Budha to Gandhi, religious leaders have urged compassion toward animals.
Slavery was "Legal"
Witch hunts were "Legal"
Torturing, and Killing animals is "Legal"
Legality is a construction of the powerful, not of "Justice"
CONFORMITY..is doing what everybody else is doing, regardless of what is right!!!!
MORALITY...is doing what is right, regardless of what everybody else is doing!!!!
The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.
Mahatma Gandhi
