The Lennox Head community stands against the planned ski jump

The NSW Government Office of Sport intends to install an Olympic ski jump at Lennox Head - the height of a 12 storey building.
The Lennox Head community believes that this huge structure (which will benefit only the very few) will ruin an otherwise pristine coastline with no evidence provided of any social or economic benefit to the local community.
In recent years, Queensland State Government rejected this proposal TWICE based on there being no social and economic benefit.
We fully sympathise with the Olympic aerial skiers needing a place to train - but this is simply not the place. Jindabyne community is keen and seems to be a more natural fit.
Lennox Head is not the right place for the structure and WILL fight this all the way.
