Every tree works hard to minimize climate change. Every tree provides habitat for increasingly endangered wildlife. Destroying trees is bad for all of us, so STOP and THINK! If you can provide three reasons as good as this for removing them, I'd like to hear them!

As a former pupil of this school & resident of Beaumaris I believe these trees add to the asthetic of this location

I don't fell like it is right to get rid of these trees if they are not in the way.

Native trees have an intrinsic value and should have the right to life and survival just as native animals should.

Environmental butchery - just another deadbeat idea by Govt. This is equal to the Glenside madness in Adelaide's S-E suburb - the loss of open space to build a thousand dwellings is sheer madness.

Trees are a habitat, they provide us with their beauty and shade. They are so much more than just a tree.
Please seriously reconsider the need to cut down these trees.

Trees take many years to reach maturity so they are precious in any environment, but especially so in cities, where we all benefit from their quiet beneficence.

It is important to teach our children that trees are a living thing that contributes to our well being; they provide beauty, habitat for birds, shade for all, clean air and we need to respect and save them at all costs.

We are losing trees at a phenomenal rate, if these are safe, healthy trees, and are in no way hindering the construction of the new buildings leave these trees alone. They make the area more beautiful, provide shade, a haven for wildlife, when will we learn to co exist with nature? Hopefully before every single tree is mowed down

Just typical, let's cut down all the trees, let's destroy habitat , food , shelter and shade.. all for buildings. They are not in the way, so why cut them down, makes no sense. Stupidity!
