Eynesbury is a unique community approximately 35km from the Melbourne CBD. We are both metropolitan and semi-rural, surrounded by grasslands, forests and farmland. Our community is made up of a mix of people, including young families with babies, primary school aged children, families who have lived here for a decade whose children are now teenagers, all the way through to retirees. But one thing we do not have is public transport.
 
Our community's needs are varied, and we require a regular bus service to meet these needs. Single-car families, teens with no access to jobs or independence, people with medical needs, children who need to get to school, adults who regularly connect to trains or buses for work, people with social connections – we all rely on private transport to get us there. However, this is sometimes not available, meaning people need to use expensive cabs or ride-sharing services, or worse, miss out.
