Offenders on TAG automatically receive only half of the time spent on TAG. TAG is treated as house arrest.  Eg, if a tagged person spent 6 months on TAG then is in breach,  any prison sentence is automatically halfed,  So it's only fair that prisoners receive some type of remission too
