Brave mum Makerita Sio Eletise spoke to New Zealand Herald about how her son, Baby Stephen nearly died in Starship Children's Hospital in Auckland New Zealand after a nurse inserted a feeding tube into his lungs and milk went to his lungs. Baby Stephen nearly died and was in intensive care for a week and stayed in the hospital for another few months recovering. Makerita wanted to complain but the hospital "emotionally" blackmailed her by telling her that it will not help and that they are saving the baby's life. NZ Herald has put this young mother into the spotlight but never really helped her in filing a formal complaints to the Health and Disablity Commissioner and the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
With your support, we will be able to finally show that we are not leaving this young mother behind and that she is supported for speaking out and that an independent investigation must be done by these agencies so that baby Stephen will be given justice. NZ herald should have posted an update about this but they never did.
