Harvard Crimson: Stop Calling ICE for Comment

The Crimson argues calling ICE for comment is the most ethical path. I ask them to weigh relative impacts of being able to include a boilerplate response from a government agency in their article versus the very real possibility of undocumented students getting deported and the impact of silencing their voices and experiences from campus debate. I ask the Crimson to consider the ethics of their alleged neutrality in the face of atrocities committed by ICE, and to question whether "neutrality" in unequal power dynamics is truly neutral. I ask the Crimson to consider who in the Harvard Community they work for, and whose trust they want.
