Mohican is a place people from all over the state and surrounding states come to in order to experience nature, peace, solitude, and see a place untouched by humans. We can not allow greed and profit dominate our need for clean air, water, and a healthy environment. Our decisions today will impact the future. We have stand up for our environment and these few remaining wild places.

I love the state parks of Ohio, and they were formed for a reason; not as sources of natural resources for the state, or to make money for the state, but as a way to protect natural areas for the enjoyment and appreciation of our generation and the many generations to follow.

Nature undisturbed by human activity provides a sense of peace in this complicated, chaotic world. I'd like to think that when my loved ones are gone or far away, I can revisit any of Our parks and be comforted by old memories. We need to protect our parks from people only interested in making money off them!

Born & Raised in Ohio, Shocked to hear that Ohio, that already has suffered from the serious consequences of fracking, would have a law that would permit such a process in its State Parks.

There is something almost magical about the old forest, like you can feel the whisper of all those that have trodden the path before you. That feeling should live on with our footsteps and those of our grandchildren.

The parks are for the people and they are to be protected for the future. They cannot be used unjustly for the profits of a few, or in ways that threaten our water supplies, environment, or even economy such as those threats posed by activities such as drilling and fracking.

Our state parks are no place for loggers, frackers, and drillers. Please leave them be!!

Clean water is very important, and I dislike the dismantling of safeguards for the environment.
