Amendment 1 was passed in North Carolina instituting a constitutional ban on Gay Marriage. This is not only stripping the LGBT community of the very rights they deserve, it is also making them no more than second class citizens. Amendment 1 is judged on the basis just like Proposition 8. Prop 8 was ruled unconstitutional, and illegal because it stripped people of their rights. I am urging the great citizens of North Carolina, and all over the world, to come together to say NO TO AMENDMENT 1.
