This is an important issue for the republican party and the state of Missouri. The presidential caucus in Clay County on March 17th was a major success in that over 600 Republicans were in attendance to participate in this presidential election cycle. However, all clay county residents were disenfranchised as delegates were not even identified and republican attendees did not have the opportunity to even vote for their candidate's slates. Instead, a "unity slate" was suggested by the local committee and motions to challenge it were ignored. Voters were organized by district and motions to vote by county were denied despite recent changes to the district boundary lines. Motions followed Roberts rules of order yet were not honored throughout by chairman Ben Wierzbicki. As a first time caucus attendee and a newcomer to the Republican party I was very disappointed. Please consider this video as part of the evidence and respond to this petition by calling for a new Clay County Caucus that will be run in a more proper manner.
I joined this republican party to have a voice in America's future; please ensure that the people of clay county will be heard.
