Today the government announced measures to give all mortgage payers a three month payment holiday to enable them to get through the current Coronavirus crisis, but there was no mention or provision made for the thousands who rent their homes. For those who are in this position, being able to pay their rent will become impossible and the threat of eviction becomes a real and present danger. Please sign this petition to persuade the British government to ensure all members of society are looked after in these very difficult circumstances. Otherwise, many individuals and families up and down the country face an even more uncertain future if no payment break is available to them.
