The issue is there are not enough public hospitals in the Bay Area for people living in the suburban areas to reach. They have to travel 20-50 miles or more to hospitals that have only 200 beds. This takes an hour, maybe more. A solution to this problem could be the government funding more public hospitals in the Bay Area. This way more will be built, and people living in the countryside will have easier access to emergency care. If more public hospitals are not built, then lives will not be saved. Especially those who are disabled or have compromised immunity.
