Ann Demaret started this petition to The Government

Sick people with chronic health conditions can no longer access the drugs they were prescribed by their consultants. This is because of government cuts beginning in 2015 that saw reimbursments of drugs to pharmacies cut to the bone. In response drug companies refused to sell at a lower price with the result that drugs were not produced or sold to countries who would pay the market rate. This is putting profits before people. Playing Russian roulette with our lives. It is morally unacceptable and affects each and every one of us. We all know  a loved one who depends on daily medication or suffer ourselves from debilitating conditions. If we cannot collectively make a stand for our own health concerns this will continue to get worse and people will die. Already there are shortages of insulin , drugs for life threatening bowel conditions, painkillers and end of life drugs for those with cancer. To live without pain and to die without pain is a basic human right. It is above money, politics or  brexit  which suddenly are insignificant in comparison to what we are facing. We have the power to stop this. Will you sign? It might save a life, even your own.
