Covid 19 has had devastating effects on our society but particularly on the homeless.  With limited resources they are constantly exposed to the virus with little to no protection at all which could lead to fatal consequences and loss of life.

Masks and sanitisers are at the forefront of fighting the virus and stoping the transmission of the virus. But the homeless are left without these and many cannot afford to buy personal protection from the virus  over other basic necessities which may cost many lives. So it is crucial that the homeless are supplied with these by the uk government to shelters and soup kitchens  to prevent transmission and straining the NHS with an influx of covid patients.

By supplying these masks this would not only protect the homeless and lessen the transmission rates of the virus but protect other individuals from contracting the virus. They also are rejected entry into transport and shops to buy essentials so it imperative they receive these masks.
