Investigate the company Real Social Dynamics (RSD) and deport it's non-US citizen staff members.
To the government of the United States of America:
We, the undersigned, both Americans and citizens of the world alike, bring this petition to you in hopes that you will do something to stop an organization that poses a danger to basic human rights, and which has sparked a worldwide Twitter hashtag campaign: #takedownjulienblanc.
We ask that you do a serious investigation into the self-proclaimed "dating advice" company Real Social Dynamics (also known as "RSD") and all its staff members. There is numerous evidence of RSD staff members promoting hatred and sexual violence towards women around the world, as well as video footage of them engaging in/admitting to said sexual violence. The seminars taught by this company instruct men in how to both physically and mentally assault women in attempts to "pick them up."
Some of the staff of RSD are not actually American citizens. Julien Blanc, the staff member who caused the majority of this controversy, is said to be Swiss-born, with a green card for the United States. It is NOT America's duty to continue to host him or other non-US citizens of this company, allowing them to spread hateful messages that go against core American values.
Many countries have already created petitions to keep Julien Blanc from entering. As you are no doubt aware, Australia, Brazil, and Korea have already banned Julien Blanc and RSD from entering their countries. The UK has JUST officially barred Julien Blanc from entering their country as well (see BBC News update here). Meanwhile, Japan and Canada are in the process of making the same decision, with many more countries having recently formed their own petitions to keep Julien Blanc and RSD out. We urge you, the American government, to consider the decisions made by these countries, friends of ours, and move to take similar measures.
Also, as RSD is a company based in the United States, the power to put a stop to their terrible, if not bordering-on-illegal actions lies with America alone. The legitimacy of RSD as a company has been questioned not only due to what seems to be a horrifying curriculum, but also as it is has possibly been engaging in illegal work while on tourist visas in other countries.
Americans and our supporters around the world do not want America to play host to such an abhorrent group of people. RSD has proven to be a company that promotes dangerous sexism and racism. As a country, we must present a better image of America, and show firmly that America will not tolerate any sort of business practices that promote hatred and violence towards women.
Below we have organized several links from which you may find disturbing evidence of Julien Blanc and RSD's actions as a company. Please be an ally to women and girls around the world, America. Do not allow the likes of RSD and its staff members to smear America's reputation and, more importantly, dictate how tolerant the world is of sexual violence.
