I think the Maclean creek option far exceeds the needs and cost effectiveness for a dry dam that benefits more people

The McLean Creek option is more widely beneficial to Bragg Creek, Redwood Meadows, Springbank & Calgary residents re flood mitigation plus provides wonderful recreation opportunity to them plus visitors to these places who would be able to once again enjoy the beauty of Allen Bill Pond or similar style of reservoir.

It makes sense to protect all downstream communities.

I believe construction of a new Dam will be cost effective in the long term and able to securely alleviate flood runoff when managed correctly.
Better open representation by 'Trusted Officials' along with sharper listening and comprehension skills will be required to achieve any result.
Talk to the local people that sincerely understand their situation and can provide solutions.

this is the right choice - fiscally and logically

THIS IS JUST A BETTER SOLUTION AND MAY VERY WELL BE LESS EXPENSIVE .IT WILL BE LESS
DISRUPTIVE IF THERE WAS A FLOOD. WHY WOULD YOU BUY OR EXPROPRIATE PRIVATE LAND IN AGRICULTURAL USE WHEN THERE IS A CROWN LAND ALTERNATIVE?

The more communities that can be protected with a single solution the better the solution.

It doesn't make sense to potentially destroy perfectly good farmland when another solution is better.

Protection of Bragg Creek and area is relevant. As a home owner in the Spring Bank area I am also aware of the effects any disruption to the area's lands ultimately impacts ground and surface water migration. Ground disturbance inevitably impacts Aquifers and water tables changing pre-existing hydrostatic pressure conditions.
