So I am a woman that has had to flee domestic abuse I am in a woman's refuge and I can not return to my home of which I'm fleeing from I have two young children and I can not afford to go back to my home to collect mine and my children's persessions/ belongings the refuge and social services don't have funding for this so it means starting completely again there is no help available to help with removal costs or storage costs it is so unfair because if I go home my Children and I are at risk of further violence and abuse but we as the victim have got two choices to either go home and face loosing our children  or go into a new property with nothing except for a little grant for white goods then when our children go into school n say they don't have a bed or curtains or carpets ect ect we are then contacted by social services for neglecting our children this needs to change there are five other women with children in the refuge I am in that is having the same issues with funding help this is not our fault why should we be in this situation WOMEN AND CHILDREN ARE DYING because of these things it is easier to stay in an abusive relationship than it is to leave and be left with triple traumas we need to make this change as a society we need to do more!!!
